Our story begins in 1946 in Eaglehawk, Victoria, when Lance Corporal Frederick “Freddie” Cameron returned home from WWII. Like many Aussies rebuilding life after the war, Freddie found comfort in the simple things. Good company. Hearty food. And flavour that made people pause and say, “Now that's a proper sauce.”
In his kitchen, Freddie began crafting bold, full-flavoured sauces using traditional ingredients, and plenty of care. Before long, “Pa’s sauce” became part of every family meal. Rich, balanced, and full of character. The call around the table was always the same. “Where’s Pa’s sauce?”

Mike grew up with those same bottles on the family table. Made by hand, shared with pride, and always the first thing poured. He learned the craft from his mum, who carried on Freddie’s recipes, keeping them alive through everyday cooking and family gatherings.
When Mike and Keri married, that tradition became part of their story too. The flavour was too good to keep to themselves. So they set out to bring it to other tables, made the same way Freddie did. Small batch. Full of depth. True to the much-loved family recipes that started it all.
