The classic Bloody Mary may have been invented back in the 1920s, but it has stood the test of time and is a much loved cocktail for mornings and early afternoons, think brunch time with your mates.
And like many cocktails, this one has many variations too, so we asked our favourite local gal ‘Ms V’ who is our go to gal for Bloody Mary’s to join forces and put together our own recipe.
No matter what time of day it is, our recipe can be used two ways and will have you covered for those mornings when your head might be a little fuzzy from the night before, through to the early afternoon when you are feeling a little bit, well…..cheeky.
Let’s start with the cheeky, why, because that’s going to be more fun!
This variation is calculated and inspired by the size of your glass and summer vibes.
Ingredients
Method
1. Take a Japanese chopstick, stir and taste, then adjust the spice to your liking
2. (Option) If too strong add more vegetable juice
3. (Option) If not spicy enough add more tabasco and Corporal Freddies Worcestershire Sauce
4. Garnish with a sliced stick of cucumber or celery so it pops
As above and change the vodka ratio to one part vodka and 2-3 parts tomato juice
There you have it, 1 recipe 2 ways for any time of day and we say for any day.
